The other hand giveth

Nick Clegg told Sky News today..

"We need a healthy banking system for a healthy economy...We’ve got to acknowledge that this Government has already done a whole lot of things, we’ve imposed a levy on the bank, which will raise much more money than Labour’s bank tax ever did."

It is worth pointing out that the bank levy came simultaneously with a cut in corporation tax from which the banks are obviously large gainers.
